So, I broke my toe...

I found the one and only rock on the beach at banquet Saturday night... with my toe.

Banquet was a lot of fun though! I only took 3 pictures though. I find it unrewarding to take pictures and not really know what I'm pointing at. Good thing my friends took plenty that I could steal though :)

Dave, Megan and I. Bestest buddies forever :)
It rained a bit, so we are all a bit wet by now.

Love the expression. This is Richie, a good friend. And Megan too.

Haha sadly no better picture of Junie than this: having a good time with carib in hand.

One of my professors and my classmates

That's all for now.

My last Kittitian Thanksgiving

complete with 7 hours of class and a quiz. Why? Because this is not America.

I made my first turkey and hosted my first big dinner party. It was a blast and everything went swimmingly.

The view from our dinner table

Lots of sides starting to arrive along with the guests..

My first turkey!!! All 13.6 pounds of it!

Decorating the dog...

Pin-the-turkey on the dog...

Megan and I had just broken the wish bone, its hard to tell from the picture though

Beaster enjoying a humerus

Happy Thanksgiving!!

PIE!!!!! And brownies. And cake.

I made everyone cut out a hand and color it, then we made a turkey out of all of our hands. All together now... awwwwww
Now onto studying again. And leftovers.

Cuteness

I've been getting to do some pretty cool things lately...

I apologize in advance for the poor quality photos, most were taken by a friend on an iphone as my camera has officially died. Le sigh...

It's Rocky!! Shhhh... but notice his adorable black spot behind my elbow.

The start of our day, way on the other side of the island. Gorgeous day!

Pretty bos indicus cow and calf

Rescuing an escaped lamb

Rollin around St. Kitts in the back of a truck. Definitely was a true Kititian day!

They were so excited to see us but ran away when we approached. Awww lambs!

Ready to de-worm and ear tag! (The green things I'm holding are ear tags)

Yes, we are driving straight through cane fields. No road? No problem!

Random photo. This is the view from our parking lot. For real.

Another one of the pretty cows. We just dewormed them, but that was quite a fiasco in itself.

Piglet testicles! Like my handy work?

Soooo cute! They are guard donkeys. Seriously.

Part of the group for the day. We had a blast!

The pigs in question from the previous picture.

Our group for the day. We were pretty tired and sweaty by then...

I love St. Kitts for things like this!

DONKEY!!! awwww

Pretty calf!

The sheep herd enclosure. St. Kitts is awesome.

The herd. Scared but adorable!
The pictures are completely out of order, but you get the idea.

St. Kitts, you'll be missed. Its been a great 2.5 years, I can't believe I only have a few weeks left!

Picture Update

I cut into a sheep cecum yesterday, that was pretty cool.

Tomorrow I neuter a dog. Well, do half of a neuter, I have to share.

In 2 weeks I spay a dog.

Surgery is fun!

Now on to some pictures...

Beach day with friends

GIANT boulder (probably twice as tall as I am). It closed the road for a while until they could move it.

Halloween cookies made by yours truly

Halloween party. I'm dressed as one of our old anatomy professors, he was a character and well loved but is now retired.

Gorgeous evening in St. Kitts. All those lights are from Basseterre

Gorgeous Saturday in St. Kitts

I puppy sat the dog that I tried to adopt. Someone got him before me. Yes his forehead is misshaped, don't laugh!

He loves me and wishes he was my dog :)

He looks like a "Zante" and not a "Rover" right???

Do I have to give him back???
Someone suggested bribing the girl who adopted him. Someone else suggested something a bit darker. Both are tempting....
